Ingredients

Scale
  • 13 oz refrigerated pizza dough

  • 67 mozzarella cheese sticks, cut into 30 pieces

  • 1 large egg + 1 tbsp water

  • 3 tbsp melted butter

  • ½ cup grated Parmesan, divided

  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley

  • ½ tbsp chopped rosemary

  • ½ tbsp chopped basil

  • 1 clove garlic, grated

  • Marinara or pesto for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line baking sheet with parchment.

  2. Cut pizza dough into 30 squares.

  3. Add 1 piece of mozzarella to each square and roll into balls.

  4. Arrange balls seam-side down in a Christmas tree shape.

  5. Brush with egg wash and bake for 16–18 minutes.

  6. Mix melted butter with garlic, herbs, and half the Parmesan.

  7. Brush hot tree with butter mixture and sprinkle remaining Parmesan.

  8. Serve warm with marinara and/or pesto.

Notes

Dough balls don’t need to be identical in size.

Parchment is essential to prevent sticking.

Brush butter while the bread is hot for better absorption.
